Galeria NAVE opens in May 2019, with the aim of promoting emerging and mid-career artists, questioning the conventional model of the art system, in which younger artists do not have support to grow and present their work. Been part of group with other artists in mid-career the diversity of mediums is very open, installation, sculpture, photography, contemporary textile art and also painting embrace the represented artists of the gallery.

In 2021, NAVE started a line of international projects focused on providing new exhibition scenarios for Portuguese artists, but also for artists from other nationalities, through collaborations with institutions, galleries and independent spaces. This cooperation model allowed the gallery to redefine the professional growth of the represented artists, promoting them internationally and contributing to spreading they artwork in other states and players. 

The Gallery’s name itself, it’s the identity of a collective without a single name or face, symbol of a metaphorical vehicle to a dream, where everything is possible: growth and increase without geography or physical boundary. 

NAVE presents a regular and consistent program of exhibitions and international art fairs throughout the year.
